nitobe garden

I meant to post this about three weeks ago but with the start of my new job and everything else, I never got around to it.

After my second exam, I decided to give myself the afternoon off and do some long overdue campus exploring. First on my list was the Nitobe Japanese Memorial Garden, a little oasis at the edge of campus. I had seen many photos of this garden, so I knew it was beautiful but in person it was even more stunning.

I wandered around only briefly and do plan to return for a more extensive visit, but even in the few minutes I was there, I fell in love with the garden’s peaceful beauty.
